When Leigh was a young nurse living and working in London she had the fortune of looking after Roah Dahl's grandchildren. He invited her over to Sunday lunch a couple of times and gave her two signed books. We learned that he lived in a cottage and wrote in a caravan out back and no one (not even his grandchildren) were allowed in.
