Leigh and Roald Dahl

When Leigh was a young nurse living and working in London she had the fortune of looking after Roah Dahl's grandchildren.  He invited her over to Sunday lunch a couple of times and gave her two signed books.  We learned that he lived in a cottage and wrote in a caravan out back and no one (not even his grandchildren) were allowed in.

Fergus

Fergus came to visit M11 the other day and spent the morning with us.  He was a huge hit and a lovely addition to the classroom.  We hope to see you again soon!

Learning in the Learning Hub with Karin

We had lots of fun learning in the Learning Hub with Karin.  She was a super star and we learned a lot about the digestive system.  We also got to see blood under a microscope and put internal organs in the correct place.

 Our digestive track is 9 metres long!  That is from the learning hub and well into the library!
